Composing and Composition Software and Recording Equipment

Hardware, software, beware! The type of computer equipment and accessories that you choose as composing aids should always be from a reliable and trusted source.

Overall, there are many good programs out there, some of which I haven’t tried. Why would I? Once a composer finds what he or she is looking for, in terms of recording equipment and composing software, there’s no need to buy any further, especially when considering the financial burden that expensive computer related products can put on ones pocketbook.

Here’s a list of products that I either use or have heard positive feedback about from composer colleagues. The list is diverse and extensive, as it reflects the many needs of today’s modern-day composers.
