Music Supplies for Composers

Two key ingredients that a composer needs in order to compose are:

• a brain

• a heart

So the Scarecrow and the Tin Man would have had a hard time composing. But you are not a Wizard of Oz character. You are a human being that just wants to write beautiful music. Having said that, here are some more ingredients that you’ll most certainly need in order to organize yourself as a composer:

• a good pencil;

• a very good eraser;

• manuscript paper;

• an accurate metronome;

• proper lighting;

• a desk or computer table.

I could go on, but I think you get the idea. It’s important to have a reliable source that can supply these types of items. For this purpose, I’ve created some links so that you can have quick access to items that you may run out of.
