Are Fascinating
Schumann
Clavierstücke Op. 68 (Melodie)
Schumann
works as a correct answer to our skill testing question! Melodie
is the first installment in Schumann’s Clavierstücke.
Written in C major, its simplicity is part of its charm and the
almost constant left hand eighth note movement prevents the tune
from becoming stagnant.
Decoys
Brahms
1856 Op. 10 ballad no. 1 is a wonderful composition. Its amazing
middle section gradually builds up excitement using triplet rhythms
on the second and fourth beats.
As
for Chopin’s Op. 10, No. 3 study, it’s one of his most
popular and well liked melodies, with an equally passionate middle
section that stresses the following: con forza, con fuoco and con
bravura (with force, with fire and in a showy manner)!
